Random Backgrounds

I tend to neglect backgrounds, leaving my subject floating in a great white space, so I decided not too long ago to work on a few BGs, hopefully getting into a good habit.

The top one is entitled "Sunset in Nihon (Japan)", and the second I called "Lonely Hill", and both were scenes glimpsed from some online flash animation a friend showed me about some ninja boy; I don't remember the name of it, though, and some modifications were made seeing as I was working by memory.
